1. Who operates this store

This store is operated by Control Dies Lux S.A. de C.V. ("ControlLux"), with its place of business in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur, Mexico. Contact: proyectos@controllux.com.mx, phone 624 211 8478.

2. What this store covers

The controllux.com.mx/tienda section sells physical product at retail: fixtures, controls, drivers, security and networking equipment. Project services (lighting design, commissioning, Lutron integration and installation) are handled separately — see Services — under project-specific contracts, not through the store checkout.

3. Prices and availability

• Prices are shown in Mexican pesos (MXN).
• VAT is included in the displayed price.
• We reserve the right to change prices and availability without notice.
• If a product is listed with a price clearly outside its commercial value due to a typographical or catalog error, we'll contact the customer to confirm the order or cancel it with a full refund.

4. Order processing

Orders are confirmed by email once payment is completed. Estimated processing times:

• Product in local stock (Los Cabos): 24 to 72 business hours for preparation and shipping.
• Made-to-order product (imported or custom): the timeline is communicated before charging, and runs 2 to 12 weeks depending on brand and configuration.

5. Shipping

We ship across Mexico through third-party carriers (Estafeta, FedEx, DHL, or specialized carriers for fragile or oversized product). Cost is calculated at checkout based on weight, volume, destination and declared shipment value.

Transit risk: covered by the carrier. ControlLux handles any claim for product arriving damaged, as long as it's reported within 48 hours of delivery with photo evidence.

6. Payment methods

We accept payment through PayPal (credit/debit card or PayPal account balance). Transactions are processed with PayPal's own encryption and security standards.

7. Warranties

Each brand ControlLux distributes offers its own factory warranty. Common terms are:

• Lutron (controls, dimmers, shades): 1 to 5 years depending on the line.
• Flos and other lighting: 2 years for electronic components, longer for mechanical parts.
• Hikvision (video surveillance): 1 to 3 years depending on model.

To make a warranty claim, we handle the request directly with the brand. The original invoice is required.

8. Cancellations

Once payment is confirmed, cancellations are possible as long as the order has not shipped. After dispatch, follow the return process (see the Returns page).

Made-to-order items (custom fixtures, tunable color, project-specific programming) cannot be cancelled once production has started.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this site (text, images, brands, logos, project photography) is the property of ControlLux or the brands it represents, and is protected under applicable intellectual-property law. Reproduction without written authorization is not permitted.

10. Changes

ControlLux reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. The version published on this page is the one in effect. We recommend checking it periodically.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of La Paz, Baja California Sur.
